All donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. A receipt will be provided for your taxes.
*CLIMBING THE MILEPOST LADDER*
Over time, when a donor’s single or cumulative donation amount exceeds the established minimum donation levels for the next Milepost above Sustaining Sponsor (Golden Sunray, Red Sunray, Liberty Blue, and Copper Star and Flagship), the donor will advance to the next Milepost level (i.e., when a donor has gifted a cumulative total of more than $500 to the museum they will advance to the Golden Sunray Milepost. Likewise, when a donor has gifted more than a total of $1000 to the museum they will advance from the Golden Sunray to the Red Sunray Milepost, and so on.) Recognition of the donor’s achievement levels will be displayed in the museum. A donor may continue to donate as a Sustaining Sponsor even after attaining a higher Milepost.
How do we reward our Sustaining and Milepost Sponsors for their support?
Each year, when you attain at least the Sustaining Sponsor designation, you will receive a specially crafted collectible keepsake from the museum made available ONLY to you and others who attain the Sustaining Sponsor designation that calendar year. You will also receive recognition on the Sustaining Sponsor display, and; if you attain a higher Milepost status that year, you will also receive recognition on the Milepost display. And, as if that isn’t enough, you will also receive a receipt for your tax-deductible donation for the calendar year. Additional surprises may be awarded at the sole discretion of the museum Board of Directors.
